Rolls-Royce Black Badge Spectre

The new Rolls-Royce Black Badge Spectre

"Black Badge Spectre is one of the clearest statements of power and purpose we have ever made. It has been created in the image of our boldest and most audacious clients, with meticulous attention to detail. From the beginning of Black Badge Spectre's journey, the clients who requested this extraordinary motor car dared us to share their fearless spirit. In response, our engineers combined data science, qualitative feedback, and their own deep knowledge of the brand's alter ego to craft an intense and uncompromising character, and the most powerful Rolls-Royce in history. Reflecting the Black Badge character, our designers and artisans realised their most dramatic and provocative vision with vivid details and exquisite contemporary crafts. The result is Black Badge Spectre: the alter ego of our brand, amplified."

- Chris Brownridge, Chief Executive of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars

2025 Black Badge Spectre

Introducing the 2025 Rolls-Royce Black Badge Spectre – the most powerful Rolls-Royce in history. Rolls-Royce has made several adjustments to the Black Badge Spectre to boost driver confidence. They increased the steering weight and adjusted roll stabilization for better feedback and less body-roll during turns. Enhanced dampers improve body control, reducing 'squatting' when accelerating or decelerating. These changes ensure a balanced driving experience, combining engagement with the smooth, effortless "Magic Carpet" ride Rolls-Royce is known for.

Performance

The Black Badge Spectre powertrain harnesses up to 1075 Nm with a record 659 horsepower, unlocked when the driver presses the Infinity button on the steering wheel. The Black Badge Spectre also has a Spirited Mode that gives the driver a quick, powerful acceleration. To activate it, the driver presses both the brake and throttle while the car is stationary, waits for a signal, then releases the brake. This boosts the torque to 1075 Nm, allowing the car to go from 0 to 60 mph in just 4.1 seconds.

Design

The Black Badge Spectre debuts in a new Vapour Violet paint, inspired by 1980s and 1990s club culture, with a contrasting Iced Black bonnet. Clients can choose from 44,000 colors or create a bespoke hue. A new 'waft' coachline option enhances the car's design, and a bold 23-inch five-spoke forged aluminum wheel design is introduced, available in part-polished or all-black finishes, with winter tires also available. The car's dark, mirror-polished brightwork, including the Pantheon Grille surround, Spirit of Ecstasy, and double 'R' Badge of Honour, highlights its subversive character.

A new Illuminated Grille backplate is offered in five hues, and the new Illuminated Black Badge Treadplates are available in ten complementary colors.

Interior

The Black Badge Spectre's rebellious character is evident from the moment you enter, with a bold interior featuring an Illuminated Fascia that incorporates the Infinity symbol, representing infinite power. The fascia has over 5,500 stars set in a Piano Black sky. The interior also boasts a Technical Fibre surface finish with a diamond-shaped weave of carbon and fine metal thread on a black Bolivar wood base. The Infinity symbol is stitched into the leather 'Waterfall' section between the rear seats. The instrument dials offer five color themes, allowing clients to harmonize the car's physical and digital surfaces via the SPIRIT operating system, which also provides access to remote charging, location information, and the exclusive digital members club, Whispers.

Bespoke and Beyond

The Black Badge Spectre is a car of fearless expression and precision, designed for the daring individuals it serves. With its impressive power output, advanced chassis technologies, and extensive Bespoke options, it marks a bold new chapter in the successful Black Badge series, the formidable alter ego of Rolls-Royce.

"The development of Black Badge Spectre began with our deep understanding of engineering the uncompromising nature of the Black Badge character, overlaid with the detailed analysis of client feedback and their driving style. Black Badge owners from around the world permitted our specialists to access their anonymised data, enabling us to create a new driving experience perfectly suited to - and validated by - the way our clients use their motor car. Following internal development, a small tranche of 'secret' Black Badge Spectres was built for a group of clients who requested the earliest possible access to this motor car. They emphatically approved of our engineering response, highlighting the powerful connection between Rolls-Royce and its clients."

- Dr. Bernhard Dressler, Director of Engineering, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars
